Sarasota is one of the most beautiful cities in Florida.  Its trademark Ringling Bridge links the downtown with St. Armand's Circle, an upscale tourist and shopping enclave.  St. Armand's shopping is a directory of the toniest brands, including Lily Pulitzer, Wyland Galleries, and Tommy Bahama.  Its restaurants are some of the best in Florida.

Beyond St. Armand's Circle is Lido Key. The beach at Lido Key is world famous, and once hosted the historic Lido Casino, which was the venue for beauty contests and athletic events in the 1930's.

Siesta Beach is one of the most beautiful in the world.

A little south of Lido Key is Siesta Key, with more of a small village atmosphere.  Siesta Village has been called a mini-Key West, with its night life and daytime watersports.  Siesta Beach was named the Number One Beach in the U.S. by Dr. Beach in 2012.  Its fine silica sand looks and feels like powdered sugar.

The Sarasota County Courthouse is located on Ringling Blvd. near U.S. 301 right downtown.  Every person arrested on a DUI charge in Sarasota County winds up at the Sarasota County Jail, located on Main Street, east of U.S. 301, in downtown Sarasota.  That is the place to go with the bond money.  (A standard first-time DUI with no injuries or property damage will typically carry a bond of $500.)   Post it as soon as you can, because only bad things can happen if your loved one has to stay overnight and go to first appearances before a judge the next day.

The Hudson Law Office knows that even in paradise, reality sometimes intrudes.  If we can help you with a legal problem, we are happy to do so.
